FINALLY, summer has arrived in the NW!

Thats right! Jack was yuck-en it up with the Ladies!

He-He, it was so cute, with just one sandal too. I wish I had a video and audio of the conversation they were having. You know, If I come near them with a camera, they stop immediately doing their thing!

BUT Im pretty sure here was much to do about how JACKED-UP his teeth are!

 

These were just a couple of my sisters adorable daycare kiddos.

On Tuesday we headed to one of our favorite stomping grounds as kids, BIRCH BAY. Its along the Pacific Ocean, about 100 miles north of Seattle. My parents use to take us kids there every summer and we would park our trailer there for a week. Besides all the beach fun, I have nothing but wonderful memories riding my bike with its banana seat, along side my brother and sisters collecting bottle caps...UH-OH, now you know my age!  Unfortunately, we didnt have time to go to the beach this time. BUT ended up at the Water Park (that of course was not there all those years ago) I followed my sister and her crew of  Day Care kiddos in her van and we headed there for the day.

 I didnt know if Jack would be brave enough to go

down some of the larger slides but he did it!

BUT lets try this one first!

EH...I guess the baby slide wasnt that exciting.

LETS DO THIS!

to figure out what that was on his tummy!)

Its a good thing Logan likes the smaller stuff too

so Jack has someone to go down them with :) 

He's a good big brother!

I think in the end, Jack just LOVES the pool.

The older cousins came along too! Alyx, Ana, Austin with Senna and Easton. I went down a few slides after the boys begged me to! The last one I came out of the tube and my foot hit the side and I ended up with a lump, fun. Notice there is NO pics of me :)

My 2 niece's with Logan. Their Birthdays are all within 6 mos from each other. Logan the youngest, he'll be 12 in December. (OK, to be fair, these girls are very TALL for their age! sorry Logan)

Did I say tall?! At just 12, I think they are heading to be much, much taller than Senna, who has stopped now at 5' 4 1/2" (well the last time we checked)  The Drs have said Ana (to the left) will be close to 6'...oh deary. I never get why my kids dont end up taller (well its not to late maybe), with their dad thats 6' and me at 5' 6" and my sister is shorter than me and her EX was shorter than Jeff! and she has a son thats over 6' too! Ill never understand the height thing, or why I didnt end up with one kid with my blue eyes! oh well.

AND this is the way it always ends. :)

He had a great day though, so it was worth it.
