Jack was so excited! He had a great day at school and looked
forward to his special night with Dad, all by themselves!
I met Jeff downtown so he could take him.
He did pretty good too, although he did fall asleep once in the car :)
oh, and we lost... not that it mattered,
just making great memories with our boy...

Thank you for your kindness and your comment on my blog. YOu had me laughing and I really needed it this morning!!!! SO far I have done NOTHING stellar on accomplishing my goals....except typing them. Gggggrrrr. We are dealing with some other things here non-Garrett related that are taking a toll on all of us. Prayers please!!! Meanwhile, I see and read you guys are really busy. I am glad Jack and Daddy got a night out on the town together. Jack looked like he was so pround!!
ANd for me it is cheery coke zero, and since I stopped buying it by the can case, I started getting a 20 oz every time I go by a gas station that has them which is now almost daily, so I might as well be hitting Starbucks!!! Getting expensive and with no real income here besides military retirement which makes the house note, I need to stop!!! I love MdD's sweet tea!!! Now THAT could get me in trouble!!! As for my goals, especially my health and fitness...I was a really fit momma for many years, ran a couple half marathons, a marathon and was competitive on a team of three ladies adventure racing. Gosh it was fun and such a great time in my life. But that is gone....long gone. I was so stressed wishing I was working out and knowing I couldn't fit it in that just stopping altogether gave me less stress and time to do things like, oh, DISHES, LAUNDRY, etc. BUt I know I need it. I feel a funk coming on. Mabybe I will get on my shoes and walk thirty mins right now, up and down our little hill of a driveway, and call it a check in the box!! Oh, and my coke I had yesterday from the gas station was DELICIOUS!!!!! THANK YOU, my kind friend. Hope to see you when we change docs and start seeing Dr. S in Seattle. And yes, I am procrastinating that, too, but trying to get my list to shorten enough to get to that one!!!
